1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Friday ("the Service"), operated by Super Locrian LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Friday is a platform that enables musicians and artists to sell and distribute their music directly to fans. We provide tools for uploading, hosting, and selling digital music.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
4. Artist Responsibilities
Artists using Friday to sell music represent and warrant that they own or have the necessary rights and licenses to distribute the content they upload. Artists are solely responsible for their content, pricing, and any refund policies they choose to offer to their customers.
5. Purchases and Payments
Purchases are transactions between buyers and the individual artists selling on the platform. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Refund policies are set by each individual artist. Super Locrian LLC is not a party to these transactions and is not responsible for refunds, disputes, or the quality of content sold by artists.
6. Intellectual Property
Artists retain full ownership of the content they upload. By uploading content, artists grant Super Locrian LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. The Friday name, logo, and platform design are the property of Super Locrian LLC.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Upload content you do not have the right to distribute
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service
Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Super Locrian LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
